Spiced Oatmeal Raisin Cookies in a Jar Mix

3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup raisins
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Combine flour with cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt. Layer ingredients in order, making sure to pack down each layer.

Instructions:

In large bowl, empty spiced oatmeal raisin cookie mix, stirring until well combined. Add 1 1/2 sticks butter/margarine, 1 egg (slightly beaten before adding), 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well. Preheat oven to 350F. Shape into small balls, place on greased cookie sheet, about 2" apart. Bake for 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
