Lavender sugar is one of the latest trends, especially in deserts such as lavender cookies!
2 tbsp dry lavender OR 4 tbsp fresh lavender
1 cup sugar
In an airtight jar, combine the ingredients. Store for a week or two, shaking the sugar daily to help distribute the scent and flavor in the sugar. Sift out all the lavender (leaving just the sugar behind) and store in an airtight container and use as needed.
