When go searching
for flip flop sandals, you can get the complete plain Jane
variety for as little as $.99 a pair, or be tempted by the
fancier versions of these popular sandals that can easily
cost $10 or more. But why not make your own fancy flip-flops
out of the inexpensive pair?
One of the simplest
ways to transform your plain flip-flops is simply by purchasing
two flowers from the craft store. Single stems often have
multiple flowers so you only need to buy one stem. Then take
your glue gun and glue a flower to the cross section on the
top of each sandal. And if you have extra left over flowers,
you can easily make a barette, or attach one to a headband
with your glue gun.
Other ways you
can dress up flip flop sandals include gluing inexpensive
rhinestones, little seashells, or even buttons and beads.
A quick visit to your local craft store can reveal whole lot
of ideas for things that can be glued to your sandals.
