How to walk in high heels

So you need to look absolutely fabulous for a party, and the perfect pair of shoes seems ridiculously high compared to anything you've ever worn before. Here's how to walk in high heels or stilettos like a pro, so you won't embarrass yourself by tripping or falling.

Posture is the most important thing. Make sure you keep your head up and your shoulders back. The absolute worst thing you can do is watch your feet when you try to walk as it puts your center of gravity too far forward and will make you trip.

It isn't a race. When you wear high heels, you must take much smaller steps than you do when you are wearing sneakers or even lower heels. When you take steps that are too big, you can actually snap off a skinny stiletto. You should really walk just so that the ball of your foot and the heel make contact with the floor the same time.

The toe of the foot should be slightly wider. If you are not comfortable walking and so what does her high heels, you should avoid the super skinny toe shoes. This is because if you can spread your toes just a little bit it will help your balance, as well as the ability to stay on your feet much longer throughout the evening.
