Dry Shampoo for Hair Recipe

If you are in a hurry and can't run out the door with wet hair, or you need to "wash" someone's hair who is unable to get out of bed easily, using a dry shampoo is easiest to do. Here is a recipe for a dry shampoo recipe, which is much less expensive than store-bought versions of the same thing.

2 tablespoons arrowroot
2 tablespoons orrisroot powder

Combine ingredients in an airtight container. To use, simply apply to the part of the hair, and gently rub into the hair. Let sit for 10 minutes - use a shower cap if you want to get your makeup ready or do other things while it sits, then using a brush, brush out the powder.

You can make larger batches of this dry shampoo and keep it on hand.
