How much moisturizer should you use?

Does it seem like you burn through your moisturizer really quickly? Well chances are you are using far too much - like probably 10x too much!

If you have regular skin, you only need to use 1/8 teaspoon worth of moisturizer to do your entire face - yes really! If your skin is extra dry, the most you will use is 1/4 teaspoon of moisturizer.

If you look on your bottle of favorite moisturizer, it won't tell you how much moisturizer to use, only how often you should use it, this is because the companies KNOW people use far more moisturizer than they need, and it is obviously in their best interests to keep you using more than you need.

When you start using the correct amount of moisturizer, you should notice that your face doesn't feel greasy immediately following application, which means you have less oils sitting on your face to cause potential breakouts.

With all the money you are saving, you can now buy that expensive moisturizer you have had your eye on for a while, or splirge on several different scents you can switch between depending on your mood, since you will be saving so much money by not using more than you need.
