How to ease tension headaches naturally

Many moms suffer from tension headaches due to stress, whether it is money problems, family problems or work woes. But not all moms want to resort to medication to relieve tension headaches, both because of the expense and the concern about over-medicating. Here is a simple trick to ease tension headaches chemical-free.

Next time you have a tension headache, soak a washcloth in ice water, then fold it and apply to the back of your neck and the area right above the hairline at the back where tension headaches start. If you don't mind the cold, you can also use a gel ice-pack wrapped in a washcloth for an even colder application.

If your headaches begin on your forehead, you can do the same thing on your forehead and/or temples, or whereever your tension headaches start forming..
