vodka, orange and lemon peel in a large jar or bottle. Combine
water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring
constantly until sugar is completely disolved. Check by pouring
a small amount into a clear container and holding up to the
light to check for sugar granuales. Allow to cool for one
minute then slowly pour over top of the cranberry mixture
in the jar. Using a spoon, stir well then seal jar. Gently
shake then allow to steep for 5-6 weeks, making sure you give
the jar a quick shake each day.
Strain the liqueur
before serving. Makes great gifts!
