How to remove creases from vinyl tablecloths

Vinyl tablecloths are great because they are waterproof - great when you have younger kids and want to protect a nice wooden table - and they are fairly inexpensive. They can even be used underneath your fancier tablecloth too, to help protect it rather than purchasing a pricy undercloth. But have you noticed how those pesky creases from where the cloth was folded in the packaging just never seem to get out? Here is how to smooth out those creases so it looks perfect every time.

All you need to do is pop your tablecloth into your dryer on low hear (not air-only) and dry it for a couple of minutes with a couple of damp bath towels. The heat combined with the dampness will cause the creases to disappear. It is VERY important that you check the tablecloth after every minute, because if it gets too hot, it can melt and cause damage. So keep a careful eye on it and this is one task you shouldn't multitask!
