Why you should shorten your showers

Did you know that if you shorten your showers by only a couple of minutes a day that you can end up saving several dollars on your water bill and your water heating bill. Many people tend to stand in the shower for much longer than necessary, so it is quite easy to stand under that hot water without really needing to.

Make sure you have everything you need for your shower handy. Leaving the water running while you look for a razor in your cupboard can waste more water - and money - than you would realize.

If you love the feel of hot water, try taking a bath instead of a shower. Baths tend to use far less water than showers. And if you are shaving your legs in the shower, you can use much less water to shave them if you do have a bath instead - not to mention you won't have as much of a problem with razor burn.
