Serving alcohol on a dime

When hosting a party, many guests will expect the serve alcohol. And if you do not want to specify "bring your own bottle" on the invitation, alcohol loan can significantly raise the amount of money the you will spend hosting your party. There are a few things you can do to minimize your alcohol costs.

Instead of hard liquor, simply serve a punch. Adding an inexpensive bottle of wine and champagne to a regular for fruit punch can create a tasty beverage for your guests to enjoy while still saving you money.

Or you can decide to only serve one type of hard liquor, such as the vodka or a rum. This will also keep your costs down, and prevent some of your trendier guests from from creating shooters for everyone out of your alcohol cabinet.
