Budget Party Themes

hosting theme parties are all the rage, but they can also wreak havoc on your pocketbook. Yes, a Mexican themed party sound like a great idea, but if you don't have anything in your house that goes the scene, you could be spending a lot of money to make that theme a reality.

Instead, look at what you already own. If you do have a couple Mexican blankets and some funky sombreros picked up on your last trip to Mexico, then the Mexican or salsa themed party could be done on a budget.

Likewise, if your daughter already owns a collection of Groovy Girls, they can be easily used as decorations, and then you just need to buy brightly colored paper plates and napkins to coordinate, and have your daughter cut out daisies from construction paper to decorate the table.

Once you start thinking about what you already have in your house, you can come up with some wild and wonderful themes for your parties. And you can do this without spending an arm and leg to create the ambience.
