Frozen Peanut Butter Kong Treat

For those hot summer days, or when you need to keep your pet occupied for an extended period of time and don't want the expense of always having to purchase the new bowl to do it, all you need is a Kong.

A Kong is a rubber toy that many pets already own, because it is one of the most popular pet toys ever. And all you need for this fantastic treat for your dog is a Kong and peanut butter.

Take the peanut butter and smeared all around inside the Kong. Then, put the Kong inside an old plastic shopping bag and placed in the freezer. Once it is frozen, you give it your pet. And because the peanut butter is frozen, it takes even longer than it would take if it was unfrozen peanut butter inside. And it is a great treat for those hot summer days, because the frozen Kong and peanut butter will be soothing

Watch for sales on Kongs, that way if it's a treat your pet love, you can always have one in the freezer while the other is in use.

You can also use cheese spread instead of peanut butter.
