Make Homemade Glitter Recipe

Have you bought glitter lately? Could you believe how much you had to pay for that teeny tiny little container of glitter? Well, did you know you can make your own glitter? It's perfect, especially if you have any glitter lovers in the house! And best of all, it is extremely inexpensive to make... and you probably have all the ingredients to make it!

You do need to make glitter a day ahead, so keep that in mind!

In a medium sized container, add 1/2 cup salt. Then add 6 drops of food coloring in chosen color, mixing well until color is completely distributed through the salt (add more food coloring as needed). Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and spread the mixture out. Set aside for a day to allow to dry. Once dry, store in airtight container or ziploc bag.
