Early Holiday Grocery Shopping List

Do you spend too much at Christmas time because it seems like every single ingredient you need to buy is NOT on sale? It's annoying! So this year, plan out your menu as early as possible, and then use this handy worksheet to organize it. Add each non-perishable item (ie. groceries you can buy now and they will last until Christmas) to the list, along with the quantity and what recipe it is for - trust us, you will be wondering 4 weeks after you made the list why exactly you needed stuffed jalapenos, because you will forget!

Then, just keep the lists handy, both when you look at flyers and when you go grocery shopping. That way, when you see a sale, you can grab the item then and there, without having to wonder how many you needed (and you know, you'll always buy too much or too little, never the perfect amount!)

This worksheet works well with our price log, if you want to keep an eye on the prices in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
