3 1/2 cups milk
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar (additional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon, divided
1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread, torn into 1" pieces
Spray the inside
of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Put bread
into slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine eggs, 1 cup brown
sugar, vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, mixing well. Pour over bread
in slow cooker, stirring so milk mixture soaks into the bread.
Sprinkle remaining 1 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
Serve with maple syrup if desired.
