Curried Kabob Style Rice

3 cups converted rice
1 cup golden raisins
2 tbsp curry powder
½ onion, diced
5 cups water

Place rice in slow cooker and add remaining ingredients. Add water and salt and pepper if desired. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours. Ensure most of the water is absorbed before serving.
