1/4 cup of red
2 tbsp dried minced onion
2 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1/8 tsp each celery seed and
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 cup medium egg noodles
1 bay leaf
In a two cup jar,
add ingredients in layers. Add more egg noodles if needed
to fil jar. Seal and label.
In a large saucepan,
boil 8 cups of water and add contents of jar. Cover, reduce
heat and simmer soup for 25 minutes. Remove bay leaf and add
2 cups of chopped cooked chicken. Add 1 1/2 cups of frozen
vegetables if desired. Simmer another 5 minutes and serve!
